S3 - Produced between 2006 and 2012. The maximum output is 195 kW which allows to reach speed of 100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 5.5 s. An electronic limit of speed is set on 250 km/h (155 mph). Audi offers both six-speed manual and six-speed S-Tronic automatic transmissions with the S3.
RS3 - Produced between 2011 and 2012. This model shares most of the features with S3 but is even more powerful and can reach speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds.
Notes:
This model was initially 3-door hatchback with four-cylinder engines and new automobile platform (the PQ35). Interior was more spacious than in models from first generation. New petrol engines with Fuel Stratified Injection (FSI), and standard six-speed manual gearboxes were also introduced.
